BACKGROUND
Jaltepec community of Candayoc, located at the northeast boundary of the municipality of San Juan Cotzocon, has a relief predominantly homogeneous and low attitude (50-100msnm). the creation of the territory is mainly gently undulating plains. Its geographical coordinates are 17 north latitude and 95 º 43 west longitude, bounded on the north with the community of Mary Lombard, east to communities of St. Joseph of flowers and Mexican Constitution (separated by the river Jaltepec) belonging to the municipality San Juan Mazatlán.
The altitude of the community and their low topographic variability determine economic activities (production systems of robusta coffee, corn, citrus and cattle ranching
WEATHER

FLORA AND FAUNA

In the study area there is an area considered by the community as a zone of protection and logging, known as "the bush", this area was declared an ecological reserve and wildlife refuge. The savanna is located northwest of the community, with an approximate area of 4864 hectares. And represent 34% of the territory.
